1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CII Academy (cii.academy), including purchasing any course or study material, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.
2. Services
CII Academy provides digital study materials, exam simulators, and course content for professional professional CII qualification exams. All content is delivered electronically and accessible via your account upon purchase.
3. No Refund Policy
All purchases are final and non-refundable. Due to the digital nature of our products, once access to a course or study material has been granted, no refunds, credits, or exchanges will be issued under any circumstances. This includes but is not limited to:
- Change of mind after purchase
- Failure to complete the course
- Failure to pass the associated exam
- Duplicate or accidental purchases
- Incompatibility with your device or internet connection
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and accept this no-refund policy.
4. Account & Access
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Access to purchased courses is granted to you personally and may not be shared, transferred, or resold. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on CII Academy - including text, graphics, study materials, quizzes, code, and design - is the exclusive property of CII Academy or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any of our content without express written permission.
6. Course Content & Copyright Compliance
CII Academy is a CII Accredited Training Partner (ATP). ATP status applies to the training provider; it does not mean that every individual mock question, flashcard, summary, AI response, or website feature has been separately reviewed or approved by CII. Our study materials are developed with reference to the applicable CII syllabus and official workbooks.
CII Academy is a training provider and is not the Chartered Insurance Institute itself. Candidates should use the official CII website for exam registration, qualification rules, and the definitive current syllabus.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that our materials will ensure you pass any exam. CII Academy makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of the content.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CII Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or exam fees.
9. Content Updates
We regularly update our course materials to reflect changes in exam syllabuses and regulations. However, we do not guarantee that updates will be made immediately upon syllabus changes. Access to updates is included for the duration of your course access period.
10. Privacy
We collect and process personal data (such as your email address) solely for the purpose of providing our services. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe.
11. Modifications
CII Academy reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
